Gallery Blue3143 is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Nana Soeda entitled 'Talking about love for what?'.
She has been creating works influenced by the signboards and shopping street mascots that can be found in East Asian cities. This exhibition focuses on works that reshape and sublimate these mascots, which have fallen out of culture and fashion, based on a large number of sketches. These mascots, which are not recognised by many people, are superimposed on people who are subordinated to authority and marginalised by society to make a statement.
